The International Benchmarking of Technology in Education event was hosted at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington D.C.,on June 14-15th, 2010, in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).  This event relates to the APEC education priority of Information and Communications Technology in Education. Country Panel Questions

What methods are used to capture information (surveys, direct observations, discussions, research,etc.).  What are the range of indicators (or data) and the methods process?
What are your country's information needs/priorities for  policymaking in this domain that are not covered by current means?
What prevents country from having access to the relefant information (costs, capacity, interest, etc.)?  What are the main obstacles?
How are successful technology-enabled innovations identified, assesed and eventually scaled up? How is a given initiative considered a successful innovation?
